Custom Knives

Our southwestern styled knives and other items are handcrafted by a Texas artisan with an unique flare for design. His name --- Mick Kaehr. Many years ago he began making knives for his own use and as gifts for relatives. The early ones were made using carbon steel blades with mule deer antler grips. Some were decorated with sterling and turquoise inlay. Today his designs feature 440C stainless steel or high carbon Damascus blades. Handles are created from Cholla Cactus and Native Mesquite wood collected from the high deserts of West Texas and New Mexico. Couple this with Mick's use of destinctive Southwestern decorations and you have unique one-of-a-kind pieces of art that you will treasure for a lifetime. While Mick has been a lifelong craftsman and artist, he spent his working career as an engineer. His education, practical experience and natural artistic talents has given him the background and understanding of materials that he uses today to create these highly collectible items. For the past several years, he has been making knives and other items full time. I know you will be extremely pleased with his unique designs and craftsmanship.
