FOUR MEASUREMENTS IN INCHES ARE NEEDED TO INSURE YOUR REVOLVER FITS THE STAND AND DISPLAYS LEVEL.
Important:
Take measurements from ACTUAL gun to be displayed. Do
not take measurements from some booklet or gun description.
1) The total length of entire revolver, not just the barrel length.
2) A "yoke" supports the revolver barrel. How many inches back
from the end of the barrel muzzle should the "yoke" be located?
"Yoke" will be 1/2" thick.
3) How tall should the "yoke" be? After you determine the "yoke"
location, measure at "yoke" location the distance from the bottom of
the barrel down to top of the stand base.
4) Turn revolver upside down and measure the width of the grips from one side to other side at thickest point.

Custom Acrylic Display Covers
Custom made
acrylic covers can be made for single and multiple revolver stands,
semi-auto pistol stands, black powder revolver loading stands as well
as lots of other items such as custom long-gun display stands
baseballs, basketballs, footballs, helmets, etc. These clear covers can
greatly enhance the appearance of your valuable displayed
item(s). Keep in mind that each is a CUSTOM item and you and I
will need to determine the exact required length, width and height
measurements before an exact price quote can be determined. You
also need to allow a little extra time for the acrylic cover to be
custom formed to your specifications. For details and price quote call
1.800.256.4820. These covers will protect your item(s) from dust
and handling from other observers. To prevent someone from
removing the cover and handling the displayed item(s), the cover can be
attached to the wood base with small decorative screws.

covered revolver shown above was used by Temple Houston to kill Ed
Jennings in the Cabinet Saloon about 10 pm, Oct. 8, 1895 in Woodard,
OK. This display and complete story, as well as many others, can
be viewed at the Plains Indians & Pioneers Museum, Woodward, OK

Wall Mounted Pistol Stands
We
often receive requests for pistol stands designed to attach to or hang
on walls. Shown below are several such stands we have made for our
customers. Maybe you will find one that meets your
requirements. New ideas are always welcome. Unless a " PRICE
CHART" is with the stand, the price shown will be for a stand exactly
liked the stand shown. Any stand shown can be made from numerous
wood species and to perhaps different size and/or numbers of guns at
different prices.
Pictured above are
photos of two 8-Gun Vertical Pistol Stands with solid 1/2" thick
backs. Stands are simply attached to wall through the stands back. In
this case the wall was concrete block and Tapcon (concrete) screws were
used. Stands were made from solid Black Walnut finished with Black
Walnut stain plus tung oil with maroon liners.

Above 3 photos show
a 10- Gun Vertical Pistol Stand made from solid Oak finished with
fruitwood stain and maroon liners. The back consists of 1/2" thick
hang-board. The bottom part of hang-board is attached to wall and
stand with other half of hang-board is simply hung over wall attached
part.
NOTE: The 8-gun vertical & 10-gun vertical stands with solid backs
or hang-board are the same depth, width and length-- 22-1/4" X 8-1/2" X
7-1/2" . But the spaces between barrel recesses are different. the
8-gun stand lends itself better to large revolvers while the 10-gun
stand is more fitted for semi-auto pistols. SEE PRICE CHART BELOW.

finished with tung oil with small felt lined drawer with brass drawer
pull and maroon liners. Hang board attaches to wall and stand fits
onto hang-board -- very secure. Notice, all screws were countersunk
and plugged with hand made Oak plugs. This stand costs: $231.16

This
6-Gun Vertical Pistol Stand shown above can rest on a flat surface or
hang on wall with provided hang-board. The open storage area was 10"
tall. Made from solid Native Texas Pecan with clear tung oil
finish and black liners. Again, all screws were countersunk and
plugged with hand made Native Texas Pecan plugs. This stand
costs:$189.90.

long-guns. An excellant stand to display on gun show tables, any
flat surface like shelves and fire place mantles and especially in
Retail Display Cases.
Because guns are displayed partly upright, the number of weapons displayed in a given space can be increased.
Gun Rests are made from a variety of solid wood species and lined with maroon, green, brown, black, gray & red felt.
